Tom Cramond is an Australian photographer & Learning Designer based in Boorloo (Perth), Australia.
Photography:
Tom's work has been nominated for the National Photographic Portrait Prize, Iris Portrait Prize, Contemporary Landscape in Photography (CLIP) Awards and displayed in the National Portrait Gallery (Canberra), Perth Centre of Photography along with numerous group shows and publications.
Learning Design:
Tom graduated from WAAPA in 2013 with a degree in Arts Management, before moving to Sydney to work in the performing arts with Sydney Festival, Belvoir & Performing Lines. In 2016 he joined the National Centre of Indigenous Excellence as their Marketing Coordinator before taking 6 months off in early 2019 to drive around Australia in self converted four wheel drive.
Later that year he joined The University of Sydney to use his UX design & communication skills on the Curriculum Mapping tool & Online Outline project, before transitioning to an Education Designer in 2020 within the Educational Innovation (DVC Education) team. He has a passion for making authentic & engaging learning experiences (having had his own false starts at university), with a particular focus on the Universal Design for Learning framework.
In 2024 he joined Edith Cowan University in Perth as a Learning Designer.
